Gynecomastia is a medical term for “woman-like breasts”. Although this condition is rarely talked about, it is quite common. Gynecomastia affects an estimated 40 to 60 percent of men. It may affect one or both breasts. In the vast majority of cases, there is no known cause for this condition although certain drugs and medical conditions have been linked to this overdevelopment of the breasts.
