Forehead Lift (Browlift)
A forehead lift corrects drooping eyebrows and decreases the lines and furrows in the area between your eyes and your hairline. This can give you a refreshed and more youthful appearance minimizing the angry, tired or sad appearance.
In the forehead lift, the tissues and muscles causing the drooping and furrowing are altered to smooth the forehead, raise the eyebrows and minimize the frown lines. There are two techniques for forehead lift. One is the conventional technique, which places the incision just behind the hairline so that it is hidden. The second method is performed endoscopically. This involves a viewing instrument that allows the procedure to be performed with minimal incisions. Both techniques ultimately result in a smoother forehead and a more animated appearance. Your surgeon will decide which technique would be best suited for you.
