Surgical Procedures
Ear Surgery (Otoplasty)
Ear surgery is done to reduce the size of large ears or to set prominent ears closer to the head. The ears are almost fully grown by the age of four. For this reason, this operation is done on children between the ages of four and fourteen. The earlier the surgery is performed, the less ridicule and teasing the child will have to endure. Ear surgery is also performed on adults without additional risk.
